Wedding bells may be ringing for John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan, but the singer’s daughter Teddi Mellencamp, doesn’t want to hear them! An insider recently told In Touch Weekly — in the magazine’s newest issue, on newsstands now — that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 36, is not a fan of her dad’s famous 56-year-old girlfriend.
“Meg is aloof and has only met Teddi a few times,” the source revealed. “It seems like Meg isn’t interested in getting to know John’s kids, particularly Teddi.”

That hasn’t sat well with the reality star, who’s been outspoken about how much her parents’ divorce — John, 66, split from Teddi’s mom, Victoria Granucci in 1989 — hurt her. “Now there’s talk about John marrying Meg. Teddi is definitely not thrilled,” the insider said.
Unlike John’s children — he’s also a dad to daughters Michelle Mellencamp, 47, and Justice Mellencamp, 33, and sons Hud Mellencamp, 24, and Speck Mellencamp, 23 — Meg’s 14-year-old daughter, Daisy True Ryan, is excited about the possibility of her famous mom tying the knot with John.
“Daisy would love it if her mother married John — and she’s asked about a wedding,” a friend of Meg’s exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly. “Meg’s promised Daisy she’ll be involved every step of the way when the time comes, which is just music to the ears of a [teenage] girl!”

In fact, an insider told Closer that a wedding for Meg and John may happen as soon as later this year. “Next fall looks like the most likely time,” the source said. Though Meg was previously against marrying again — she was wed to actor Dennis Quaid from 1991 until 2001 — the friend said she’s now open to the idea of getting hitched for a second time.
“She pretty much said ‘never again’ after her marriage to Dennis ended, but I think with all the time she’s invested in John and how far they’ve come as a couple, she can see an upside to marriage now,” the pal shared.
