Joy Corrigan Facts

She was raised on a farm outside of Raleigh in North Carolina where they had horses, goats, and llamas.

She has taken training in Japanese martial arts form, Karate, for 8 years. She has also earned a second-degree black belt in tangsudo, which is a martial art that originated from North Korea.

Joy was discovered at the age of 14 in a mall in Raleigh. She was approached by the female scout from teen clothing brand named Delia’s, who asked whether Joy was interested to be in a fashion show. So, she did her first fashion show at the age of 14.

When she turned 18, she moved to Miami and signed a contract with the agency.

In her free time, she loves to paint and loves to work on multiple paintings simultaneously.

She has done activism work for Jade’s Vine Foundation which works to preserve and protect endangered species of plants and animals. She has also donated proceeds from the sales of her paintings and merchandise to the foundation.
